75 While the Pelican 20QT Elite didn’t outperform any of the other coolers I tested in durability, capacity, or insulation, it’s definitely the easiest to carry longer distances. If I had to carry my cooler 100 or more yards every time I used it, I’d probably pick the Pelican 20QT Elite.
76 After comparing the ORCA 20 Qt to other popular brands, the biggest reason to choose ORCA is because it’s made in the USA. The YETI Roadie 24 is the best quality, the RTIC 20 Qt was the best value for money, and the Igloo BMX 25 is the best option for a budget cooler. The ORCA 20 is a great cooler, but it doesn’t really stand out in any major category.
78 The Blue 60 Quart Ice Vault with wheels is a capable and affordable cooler. While its insulation isn’t as strong as YETI or RTIC, it offers an excellent value for money and the wheels make it an exceptional cooler.
80 In the 20-25 quart hard sided cooler category, the RTIC 20 Qt wins the value-for-money category. In insulation tests, it was only beat by the YETI Roadie 24 (which had three hours, or 5% more insulating power). But the RTIC’s price is roughly 60% less. Plus, with features like the bear lock, drain plug, and slimmed down stainless steel handle, I think the RTIC 20 Qt is the best small hard cooler you can buy.
